Car Accident...ouch!

I haven't been in a car accident since I was 16 years old.  A high school boy, driving the neighbors car, didn't stop at a stop sign completely and basically rolled right into me.  I could see him coming but could not get out of the way.  We were not going fast and I was alone in the car so no one was injured.  

Unlike the last time I was in an accident, this person had insurance and my car was repaired nicely.  Thank goodness!

Brandon's 7th Birthday

Brandon had a very specific plan in mind for his 7th birthday.  Not TOO many kids so it is not Crazy.  McDonald's for lunch, arcarde games with LOTS of tokens and home for birthday COOKIE and presents.  Sounds good to me!  Let's go for it!.  They had a day off of school the day before his birthday so we took advantage and planned the party.

So glad that Davis, Luke and Andrew were available for the party!

Reagan's 1st day of Preschool

Finally Reagan gets her first day of preschool. She loves it so much.  You can tell she is ready and so excited to go to school.

Labor Day at the Arboretum

We spent Labor Day at the Morton Arboretum.  It seems like we have been there quite a few times lately but it is a beautiful place.  This was our first cool day of fall and we were all a little confused on how to dress.  Some in shorts and others in jeans and sweatshirts!

It is amazing to me how big this group is getting.  The Smith/White crew has been at 10 for quite a while now but the size of the kids is not stopping.  Currently ages 3-15 (Conner's birthday was Labor Day).

On Thursday we spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa Smith, including a stop to see Lindsey and family.  I have never met baby Mason and he is almost 1!  Cute boy.  

Sydney and Reagan would be best buds if we lived closer.  They had a great time playing with each other.  Sydney kept asking her mom..."What's my cousin's name again?"  It makes me sad that they don't know each other better.  Maybe one day!

In between the wedding and the luncheon, we ran over to see Katherine's new house in Cedar Hills.  I had never even heard of Cedar Hills so I was so glad we got to see her new house!  It is beautiful.  It was also Isaac's 1st day of kindergarten so we sent him off to school and went to the luncheon.  Busy but fun day.

We also met up with Franklin and his girls on Friday.  They played marbles at Grandma and Grandpa's and then we went to feed the ducks.
