Happy 8th Birthday Kiersten!

I scanned in some pictures to do a video of Kiersten for her baptism day...this isn't all the pictures but some fun ones. I always tell her she was such an angel child - she could go anywhere, do anything and be happy just to keep up with our crazy lives at that time. The 1 1/2 hour car rides to Lexington - the hours at the scrapbook store - the moving from house to house. Many of these pictures really remind me of Reagan - much more than I expected. Reagan is not nearly as content but still a cute cute girl.

Enjoy!

All caught up...for a few days

If you don't use Google reader, make sure you go back into the previous posts to see them all. I was so far behind but with back to school, Kiersten's 8th birthday, Kierstens baptism, Dereks wedding reception all coming in the next few weeks, I was determined to get "caught up"!

It has been a great summer - busy busy busy but I am very ready for the kids to go back to school!

Chad's family visit - Part 2

Great picture Kiersten! Hope the slushie was good!

White Socks Game, Six Flags Amusement Park and Water Park, John Hancock Building, Magnificent Mile window shopping, and a great day at a local pool. Whew! Thanks for coming Smith's. Don't wait another 12 years to come visit again!

Chad's family visits - Finally!!

So we finally moved somewhere intriguing enough for Chad to come and visit...just kidding but we are so happy they all came to visit! We had an action packed weekend...

Downtown - Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier , busy busy busy weekend in the city (Lalapolooza, Chicago Bears family training day, and a warm sunny weekend). It was great for the cousins to have a chance to share some fun vacation experiences. It was so hot, the kids could not help but run into the fountain. We've only had two heat spells, both when we have had visitors.

Cute pictures in the shady tree while we were waiting...
