Nauvoo Pageant July 31st 2009

We decided a few months ago that we wanted to go to Nauvoo this summer. We are 4 hours away and thought it was a great summer to go. Three families planned the trip together and we started off with 3 vans, 6 adults, 14 kids and off we went.

The first night we stopped at the hotel for a quick swim and then off to the pageant. It was wonderful to see and a great learning experience for all of us! The spirit of Nauvoo is so strong and it is amazing the strength, knowledge and faith of the early saints in Nauvoo.





Before the show they have a "pioneer carnival"(i am sure there is a better term for it). The kids loved the activities. We didn't realize how large the party was so we came back the second night to participate in the games but did not stay for the second show. See the next post for more activities.
