These are my new way of life! With cold weather and growing kids I have struggled with shoes, coats and laundry since moving to Chicago. This house does not have a great set-up for stuff. The closets are not big enough and the laundry room is not even close to being large enough for our laundry needs. After 2 years of trying to figure out how to manage I finally came up with a plan.
It required a few changes and these units to be constructed to my measurements! They really have changed my life. No more laundry all over the living room floor or my bed. No more pile of shoes as you enter the front door. No more overflowing coat rack in the entry. Everyone has a LARGE Locker and it is working great. This used to be an office/playroom/bedroom. We put in tile floor and cut another door that goes right to the garage/small laundry room.
I love my new room and the order that it brings to the rest of my house!
