5th Grade Talent Show

The 5th graders put on a talent show every year.  Kiersten, along with her friend Anna, played a few fun songs for their classmates.  Way to go Kiersten!  She also accompanied a Coldplay song, while another one of her classmates sang the song.  They did really well!

After making our summer plans to go to the beach in August, I quickly learned it was going to be a long 3 months.  Reagan would ask EVERYDAY when it was time to go to the beach!  I finally decided I needed to give her something she could "SEE" how man days were left.  This was our beach chain - it started with 74 days!

Date Night in the City

Bill and Guiliana Rancic opened a new restaurant in Chicago.  Lori made reservations and we all drove down for dinner.  It was super fun and the food was really good.  Fun time with friends!

Fire Station Playgroup

Our church playgroup planned a fun outing to the local Fire Station.  It was after school, so many of the older siblings were able to attend.  We learned so much  about the fire house and got to see many awesome things.

Salem even got to dress up in the SUIT!  This was to show the kids that it is the same person they know with all the gear.  It is important that the kids are no scared of a firefighter in all the gear.  Salem is a wanna-to-be firefighter, so she loved the day more than the kids!

Preschool Field Trip - 1st bus ride!

Reagan's class went on a school field trip to a small local zoo.  Reagan has been to the zoo many times but she was so EXCITED for this field trip because they go to ride the BUS!  She was beyond thrilled and still talks about the bus and the fact that is does not even have seatbelts!

Preschool Program at Toddlers Campus

Preschool programs are always so fun to watch.  You have kids who participate, kids who don't, class clowns, perfectionist and on and on.  Reagan was shy but did her part.  She has enjoyed her preschool class this year.

Reagan's 4th Birthday!

My sweet sweet Reagan turned 4! 

Living near Chicago, we have been introduced to American Girl dolls.  Reagan was thrilled to get one of her very own!

One barbie princess cake per girl...age 4 seems appropriate!  She loved her cake!

The best gift of the day was the fake wax lips from Bywaters!  She LOVED the lips.  Many laughs.

The bike was a big hit as well.  Her previous bike had been passed down through multiple kids and was not in very good shape.  We donated all the old bikes and got her a brand new PINK bike.

Brandon's braces

We have known for a while that Brandon needed major dental work. His adult teeth are HUGE.  When Uncle Franklin saw him at Christmas time, he said something like...call the orthodontist TODAY.  We emailed exray's do Dr. Wardell and at 7 years old Brandon has an expander and braces!  It is amazing how fast the teeth move at this age.  He has been a great sport.
