Brandon's 3rd Birthday

My little baby turned 3! We celebrated yesterday because Matt has to go out of town today and tomorrow. I spent hours making Brandon's cake but it turned out pretty cute. We just had dinner, cake and ice cream and presents.

Austin was upset that we didn't have a PARTY for Brandon (with friends). Austin really sticks up for Brandon and is a great protector of fairness (whether we like it or not!) Can you hear it now, "But Kiersten got a friends party, why doesn't Brandon! That's not fair!"

Brandon did get to take cookies to preschool today to celebrate.

Anyway, we had a nice night. Here are pictures from the evening...

Brandon's First Day of Preschool

This is the last post (#3 tonight). My - we have been busy!

Brandon started 3 year old Preschool on Tuesday. He was such a big boy a did great. He will go 2 days a week...

When I picked him up I asked him how it went. He said, Good! He then asked why some of the other kids were crying? He then said "but no one was hurt - why are they crying! No one needed band-aids but they were crying."

I thought that was cute and shows his personality. Not too many cares - very good natured kid!

Labor Day Weekend...Swansboro

We drove to Swansboro for the long weekend to enjoy the beach and help Tracy with her tile project. We combined tools and time and it worked out really well. This was our way to say Thank You for watching my kids while I went to Girls Camp.

...for a finished view of the tile - Tracy's blog is better (she got it all clean!)

The weather was beautiful and the kids love getting together. Joel and Brandon would keep each other entertained for HOURS! Best Buds!

Panthers vs. Steelers

Matt ended up with free tickets from his office to the Panthers/Steelers pre-season game on Thursday night, August 30th. Yes it was a school night and yes we were going out of town the next day to Tracy's but we couldn't pass them up.

We took all the kids - we stayed almost until halftime and the STEELERS won!

Needless to say, Austin got in trouble at school on Friday but I told him it was my fault - I set him up for disaster! We had a fun time!
