What better activity to undertake on a nice fall day then a college football game. Mormon v. Catholics makes it even better. Marci and I were able to pick up a few tickets to South Bend for the ND/BYU game.
The campus is really beautiful and the atmosphere was fantastic. Tons of students and alumni, with a pretty good turnout from the BYU fans. Lots of tradition too.
We had a few hours to wander around the campus and the cathedral was beautiful.
It was a cold day, and we pretended to be BYU fans by wearing some school gear!
I've always wondered what touchdown Jesus really looks like in person, and here it is. Pretty sacreligous, but pretty nonetheless.
The game was a little slow with neither team playing well. BYU hung in until the second half when ND had a couple of big plays to put the game away. It was a great day to get out in the weather and enjoy the day together.
