Austin's 10th birthday was on a school day and it was one of the first sunny warm days of the year. We joked that he got spring for his birthday. I think you could actually see the plants bloom that day. The kids enjoyed the first day in the back yard of our new house. 
We met the kids at the park on the way home from school. Reagan loved the swing and Austin loves to make her laugh.

The Saturday before his birthday we drove to the city. It was cold but the kids enjoyed seeing the big city of Chicago and downtown for the first time. We walked on Navy Pier and enjoyed the day together.
