Grandma and Grandpa to the rescue!

My parents decided to come and rescue me and help me get my family back together again. They came for 2 WEEKS! It was awesome and it really helped me get my life in order. We found a house in Wheaton, IL, got the kids new school information, went to our new ward, did a little shopping (for a winter coat and boots...did I mention it was -15 when we landed at the airport at 11:00am?) took a nap, got a pedicure (thanks Lori) and came home! Whew! All in 4 1/2 days.

While I was gone...

Grandpa got to go to a LOT of Basketball practices and games.

Reagan got shots the day before they came and was really sick the next few days. It was rather pathetic and sad. She had a high fever and I think she threw up on Grandma 4 times the first night?! Reagan instantly fell in love with my mom and dad and did really well considering it all.

Poor little girl...

Had a SNOW DAY from school! January 20th.

My dad took Matt's truck and delivered my IKEA bookcase and trampoline to my sister for her to enjoy.

Reagan's favorite thing to do is "empty the toy basket".

Mores SNOW DAY pictures.

The kids getting creative with the skateboard ramp...nice jump!

When it snows in NC you have to get out early because usually by 11 or 12 it is all gone. School is ALWAYS cancelled when there is any snow. It is going to be a shock to the kids when it snows in Chicago and they still go to school and STILL go outside for Recess. The school told me that as long as it is above 0 degress they can go outside to play. They need snowpants, boot and gloves everyday and an extra pair of tennis shoes at school...it will be a whole new world for us!

The biggest snowman Kiersten and Kaitlyn could build! Pretty good!
