Kiersten's 9th Birthday

Nine years of guilt finally caught up to Marci and me, so we planned a fun outdoor birthday party for Kiersten and her friends.  We did homemade pizzas, a scavenger hunt, water ballon fight and cookie decorating.  Keeping up with half a dozen girls was exhausting.

We even had some throwback games, including a sack race, doughnuts on a string and relay race with a spoon and water.  The girls were good sports.  I'm sure we are nearing the end of the time when these games can even be close to "cool".

The girls were fun.  They ran around all afternoon, eating cotton candy, cupcakes, ice cream and fruit drinks.  I'm sure their parents marked our name off the list of acceptable places to play.

Austin even participated, and was actually nice, at least for half the party.  He'll figure out in a few years that it is good to have a younger sister with lots of cute friends.
