It is always a treat to go to the coast and visit the places Marci cherishes from when she was a kid and to get a sense of where our family is from. We try to make it to Carolina beach, Fort Fisher and of course Brit's Donuts.
You can see we were not disappointed by the Carolina Blue Sky and the wonderfully warm Atlantic coast water. I think it is impossible not to take off your shoes and feel the warm sand on your toes.
Grandpa had them ALL looking for shark's teeth. It is one of his favorite things to do!
Grandma and Grandpa Allens resting spot. It was good to take the kids and to share some family history with them.
Marci grew up going to Brit's and wanted to share the wonderful opportunity with the kids! It did not disappoint!
