The 4th and 5th graders get to go to the high school field house and have a track meet. They compete against each other by class. Kierstens class dominated this year. During one of the events, Kiersten was running so fast that she tripped and fell really hard on the track. She got up and finished strong, still in 2nd place. She didn't cry but really did bang up her knees and hands. (She has the grace of her mother!)
They actually honored her at the awards show for good sportsmanship and bravery. Go Kiersten!
Again, the little siblings longing to be big! What good sports!
