4th of July Take Two

Wheaton's Fourth of July was totally destroyed by the wind storm.  Main street had so many trees that had blown down, that the parade was cancelled and the fireworks postponed.  So, the city put together a July 4th, take 2 later in the summer.

We got together with our friends and headed over to the city center to watch the fireworks and hang out.  It was a fun night, and not near as crowded as the 4th of July, on the 4th of July.

The parade was not quite as big as normal, but it was still fun and enough candy thrown to the kids to keep them entertained.
