This was Austin's 4th Pinewood Derby and his last official derby. We got to do 2 last year because of our move and this year the derby was a week after he turned 11. We chose to participate for one last hurrah after lasts years successful race. Things were good this go round but not as successful as last year.
Austin went with a UK theme again this year and had the help of Grandpa Bob for the paint job.
We also had a siblings race and the UNC car from last year smoked the competition again...wish we knew what we did so right last year but it will always be a mystery.
The picture below is us racing all four of Austin's cars all at one time...of course the UNC took it by a mile.
