We took a nice Saturday this past April and headed down to Navy Pier for the day. The weather was beautiful and it gave us a chance to hang out with the kids for the day. It is kind of a tourist trap, but it gets you close to Lake Michigan and within walking distance of most of the attractions in the city. We also have fun because we get to ride the train into the city and take taxis around downtown.
Reagan has turned into our drink queen. If you have a drink within a foot of her, she takes over. She will take a sip and then demand you take a sip and will go back and forth until the drink is gone. No leisurely drinking with her! She also loves to hold the cup - must be a control thing, just like one of her parents...
However, she is so cute, we don't begrudge her the control. Someday she'll boss around some boy when he attempts to share a coke with her!
A family on the go, a small stroller, rolling backpack and ready for adventure. We also brought along the two hobos in the back for company... you never know when you need another pair of hands!
