The school decided to do a fun run for the P.E. department. They wanted to raise money to purchase lacrosse equipment for the school. Our school does P.E. everyday and the kids really love all the things they learn. I decided we would just do the mile (up until a few weeks ago, I had barely even run a mile...much less a timed mile).
Austin won the best time for his mile in his age group with a time of 6:26. Kiersten had a time of 9:08 and Matt and I ran with Kiersten. It was a great event and a fun family activity.
