Christmas Eve 2010

Post sledding hot chocolate and the Christmas story.  Our friends the Fowles live one house down from the sledding hill, so their house is home base.  They kept the hot chocolate coming and lots of snacks.
Marci found costumes on line for the kids to act out the Christmas story.  Marci did this growing up and we've been wanting to do this for a couple of years.  All of the kids participated and were good sports, especially Conner, who may have performed in his last play before he "ages" out!

The cast stood still while we read the story of the Savior's birth.  It was a good reminder of why we gathered to celebrate.

The Christmas eve presents showed up again, somehow, on our doorstep while we were out.  The kids love being surprised by this, and are surprised every year.
It took all the patience they could muster to pose for the picture.  They wanted to tear open the packages to see what pajamas were waiting.  As you can see, Austin had one hand in the box as the picture was being taken!
Reagan was cute and was so excited to see everyone open their boxes.  She was equally excited to see her pink and red pajamas.
