We have a fun Christmas Eve tradition we've been practicing since moving to Chicago. We gather with friends for a day of sledding and fun. We have a great sized hill close by that is big enough to sled down, but not so big that you get tired walking up the hill. The little girls had a great time on the hill. Last year, Reagan cried the whole way down, this year she laughed all the way down.
It snowed just right all day. The hill was covered with enough snow to keep us moving quickly down the hill.
I was the mule, pulling the sleigh up the hill over and over. Luckily, Reagan is pretty light, at least on a sled.
Austin was even lucky enough to get an early Christmas present, his snowboard, to try on the hill. He did well and wanted a steeper hill!
The Smith girls zipping down the hill.
All of our crazy kids. We took 17 kids sledding and then to dinner. The people and the restaurant must have thought we were nuts.
