We started the tradition 2 years ago when Kelly was baptized. We all went to Tracy's for the baptism and spent the week together. Last year, everyone came to my house for Austin's baptism and this year is Nate! It is so nice to support our family and be together and show the kids how important a decision they are making to be baptized. Kiersten is already looking forward to her year next August!
We found out it was 100 years to the day that my Great Grandfather, Otis Henderson, was baptized in the church in Hampstead, NC. What a legacy he left by making that decision so many years ago!
