Monday afternoon my mom called from work and said that a friend at work had trees full of apricots in his yard and wondered if we would like some. I asked the kids if they wanted to pick apricots and they asked what an apricot was? I guess I got my answer. We loaded up the van and drove to North Ogden to pick apricots.
The kids had already spent the day at the museum and they were tired but it was a fun experience. Thanks to Jake for letting us come experience picking apricots.
Austin was the photographer this day. He loves to take pictures.
This was Brandon's experience picking apricots (or as he says papricots).
Fresh apricot jam in my mom's pantry and freezer...YUM!
