Snowbird - July 25th

We were trying to decide what to do this day and Kiersten kept saying she really wanted to see (and touch) SNOW. We decided our best chance of seeing snow was to go to Snowbird Ski Resort. It is a beautiful place up in the mountains above Salt Lake City. My sister Katherine was a good sport and came with us. We kept her running but loved spending time with her and her kids.

This was the lobby of the resort - getting ready to take a ride on the tram up to the top of the mountain - 11,000 feet.

Notice the temperature - 65 degrees at about 3:00pm. It was almost 100 down in the valley.

Grandpa on top of the mountain doing what? Planning his next golf game! He was wonderful to plan around our schedule and also fit in his golf games.

If you look close at the pictures the pond is called Austin Pond. Fishing for 12 and under only.

We did get to see snow but didn't get to touch it! Maybe next time Kiersten.
It was a great day!

It was a fun day! Thanks for treating us to the top of the mountain Dad, where it was nice and cool!
