Train ride to SLC

The Front Runner is a new train that goes from Ogden to Salt Lake City. It runs on the existing railroad tracks and we thought we should give it a try. We got on in Layton and rode to downtown SLC and got off near The Gateway Center.






The Olympic Legacy Plaza featuring the "dancing waters" was a hit with the kids. The sidewalk shoots up water to the music. We forgot the towels so the kids weren't sure they wanted to get wet. It was very hot and once they got it they decided it felt wonderful. They were soaked but the sun dried them out pretty fast.
